Meet Your Hosts
Briar Rose is a mujer de familia, amigos, pasamientos, y aventuras. She works in the commercial contracts private sector, was previously on the board of directors of The Book Fairies, and volunteers for food distribution with her daughter. She is the co-founding cohost of Rediscovering Latinidad, taking her love of genealogy and her uphill challenge of Latin American research to the microphone. Briar Rose is the mother of a vivacious little girl and wife to Rediscovering Latinidad’s chief engineer, Matt Sambolin. She lives in Brooklyn and grew up on Long Island and went to college in Delaware. She’s traveled all over, even taking a leap of faith to go solo over the Atlantic to meet a long lost cousin in London who she met on Ancestry.com.
Briar Rose can’t wait to hear your family history journey, and help you weave it into a tapestry that your future ancestors will embrace with pride.
